What is a CAS Project?

Picture

A CAS Project is an

                                                         activity that involves teamwork,
integrates two or more CAS components, and
is of significant duration (one year) depending on the nature of the project.

The importance of keeping it going long-term is that it provides opportunities to reflect on progress and adjust plans, in order to resolve problems that arise. ‘One-off’ activities are sometimes more challenging to reflect upon growth and meaning, than the prolonged CAS Projects.

Try planning extensions to a central activity for it to qualify as Project like including ongoing awareness campaigns (C) or organizing (C/A) events that 'stretch' a shorter term project into a one year Project while maintaining collaboration, global issues and/or ethical dimensions.
